Vendor applications for Maize Market now accepted
Interested buyers to roam Maize Days vendor alley
MURPHY (August 18, 2021) Merchants are quick to agree on the universal principle that there are few conditions more favorable to making a sale than encountering a motivated buyer in a pleasant mood.
Such eager shoppers with cheery attitudes will surely be in abundance at the Maize Market, the vendor alley showcasing local artisans that’s part of Murphy Maize Days. The annual festival that welcomes the fall season is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 25 from noon to 9:45 p.m. at Murphy’s Central Park.
Arts and crafts, creative trinkets, hand-made jewelry, time-saving kitchen gadgets, and many other hobby-turned-obsessions, born during the fairly recent stay-at-home months, can become profitable at the Maize Market, where Maize Days attendees will leisurely stroll looking for unique gifts for friends and family.
New small business owners can jump-start their sales and begin building their customer bases at the Maize Market, while more established businesses can increase their sales and expose their products or services to a brand new market base, generate leads, and introduce new products.
After 11 years of increasing popularity, the Maize Market is a known commodity in the vendor community, with a pleasing surplus of the proverbial motivated buyers in pleasant moods, all enthusiastically seeking the one-of-a-kind discovery that will appease their search.
Vendor applications are still being accepted, but not for long as spaces are limited. Potential sellers can apply at www.maizedays.com. Booth sizes, rules, and other important information as well as applications are available on the site.
Larger companies or corporations seeking to show their support of the local festival can also be part of Maize Days as sponsors. Several levels of sponsorship, along with the accompanying benefits and recognition opportunities are available by contacting Special Events Coordinator Kayla McFarland at kmcfarland@murphytx.org.
