Bulky Trash Pickup
Bulk Waste & Trash
Waste Connections provides weekly curbside bulky waste & bundled brush collection services to the residents of Murphy.
Waste Connections will pick up 4 cubic yards of bulky trash weekly on your regular service day. This is double the amount of bulky waste service that was allowed by our previous waste provider, and you have the ability to get rid of items quicker without having to wait for a “twice-per-year” pick-up. Therefore, no twice-a-year curbside pickup for bulky trash will be held since it's now a weekly occurrence.
Waste Connections will pick up large items such as refrigerators, sofas etc... at no extra charge up to the 4 cubic yards. Occasionally Waste Connections will have to bring out an additional truck to help with these larger items.
Bulk / Brush Guidelines
At no additional cost to residents, we will collect up to 4 cubic yards of the following with your weekly cart collection: bundled brush (cut into 4-foot lengths, tied / bundled, and not to exceed 50 lbs., and/or any acceptable bulky waste items. Any residential construction material (such as fences and remodeling) please call Customer Service or Waste Connections for the acceptable guidelines. Please make sure your bulky waste/bundled brush items are stacked neatly by cart before 7 a.m. on your scheduled pickup day.
